Techniques of Body Hair Transplants.
During a standard body hair transplant, hair follicles are extracted from the donor region which is usually the back of the head to the required region like the chest, beard, or the eyebrows.
The procedure is normally under local anesthesia performed using tools between 0.75ml and 1ml or tools which are a little thicker.
Normally, body hair transplants are performed using the Follicular Unit Extraction approach (FUE) and the hair grafts are directly inserted into the tiny holes made in the recipient region.
Surgeons use hair from the back of the scalp because body hair is usually of a lower quality than the scalp hair.
With body hair transplants, the surgeon plants more hair in the recipient region than the required number.
Any Side Effects?
Stitches and scars in the donor area are the major issues however they heal within a few weeks.
Bleeding is another problem that a patient may experience but the surgeon will help you manage it.
